اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِىۡ لَهٗ مَا فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ وَلَهُ الۡحَمۡدُ فِىۡ الۡاٰخِرَةِ ؕ وَهُوَ الۡحَكِيۡمُ الۡخَبِيۡرُ ١
34:1
Praise be to Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and to Him belongs [all] praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted.
يَعۡلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهَا وَمَا يَنۡزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعۡرُجُ فِيۡهَا ؕ وَهُوَ الرَّحِيۡمُ الۡغَفُوۡرُ ٢
34:2
He knows what penetrates the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein. And He is the Merciful, the Forgiving.
وَقَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لَا تَاۡتِيۡنَا السَّاعَةُ ؕ قُلۡ بَلٰى وَرَبِّىۡ لَتَاۡتِيَنَّكُمۡ عٰلِمِ الۡغَيۡبِ ۚ لَا يَعۡزُبُ عَنۡهُ مِثۡقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَلَا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ وَلَاۤ اَصۡغَرُ مِنۡ ذٰلِكَ وَلَاۤ اَكۡبَرُ اِلَّا فِىۡ كِتٰبٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ ۙ ٣
34:3
But those who disbelieve say, "The Hour will not come to us." Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you. [He is] the Knower of the unseen." Not absent from Him is the weight of an atom in the heavens or in the earth or [anything] smaller than that or greater, but that it is in a clear register.
لِّيَجۡزِىَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ ؕ اُولٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ مَّغۡفِرَةٌ وَّرِزۡقٌ كَرِيۡمٌ ٤
34:4
That He may reward those who believed and did righteous deeds. Those will have forgiveness and noble provision.
وَالَّذِيۡنَ سَعَوۡ فِىۡ اٰيٰتِنَا مُعٰجِزِيۡنَ اُولٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ مِّنۡ رِّجۡزٍ اَلِيۡمٌ ٥
34:5
But those who strived against Our verses, [seeking] to cause failure - for them will be a painful punishment of foul nature.
وَيَرٰى الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡعِلۡمَ الَّذِىۡۤ اُونۡزِلَ اِلَيۡكَ مِنۡ رَّبِّكَ هُوَ الۡحَقَّ وَيَهۡدِىۡۤ اِلٰى صِرٰطِ الۡعَزِيۡزِ الۡحَمِيۡدِ ٦
34:6
And those who have been given knowledge see that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy.
وَقَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا هَلۡ نَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلٰى رَجُلٍ يُّنَبِّئُكُمۡ اِذَا مُزِّقۡتُمۡ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ اِنَّكُمۡ لَفِىۡ خَلۡقٍ جَدِيۡدٍ ؕ ٧
34:7
But those who disbelieve say, "Shall we direct you to a man who will inform you that, when you have been completely torn apart, you will [then] indeed be in a new creation?
اَفۡتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اَمۡ بِهٖ جِنَّةٌ ؕ بَلِ الَّذِيۡنَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِالۡاٰخِرَةِ فِىۡ الۡعَذَابِ وَالضَّلٰلِ الۡبَعِيۡدِ ٨
34:8
Has he invented about Allah a lie or is there in him madness?" Rather, they who do not believe in the Hereafter are in [for] punishment and in far-reaching error.
اَفَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا اِلٰى مَا بَيۡنَ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ ؕ اِنۡ نَّشَاۡ نَخۡسِفۡ بِهِمُ الۡاَرۡضَ اَوۡ نُسۡقِطۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ كِسَفًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لِّكُلِّ عَبۡدٍ مُّنِيۡبٍ ؕ ٩
34:9
Do they not consider what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and earth? If We will, We can cause the earth to swallow them or let fall upon them fragments from the sky. Indeed in that is a sign for every servant turning [to Allah].
وَلَقَدۡ اٰتَيۡنَا دَاوٗدَ مِنَّا فَضۡلًا ؕ يٰجِبَالُ اَوِّبِىۡ مَعَهٗ وَالطَّيۡرَ ؕ وَاَلَنَّا لَهُ الۡحَدِيۡدَ ۙ ١٠
34:10
And We certainly gave David from Us bounty. [We said], "O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well]." And We made the iron pliable for him,
اَنِ اعۡمَلۡ سٰبِغٰتٍ وَّقَدِّرۡ فِىۡ السَّرۡدِ وَاعۡمَلُوۡا صَالِحًا ؕ اِنِّىۡ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ بَصِيۡرٌ ١١
34:11
[Commanding him], "Make coats of mail and calculate [precisely] the links, and work righteousness. Indeed, I am Seeing of what you do."
وَلِسُلَيۡمٰنَ الرِّيۡحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهۡرٌ وَّرَوَاحُهَا شَهۡرٌ ؕ وَاَسَلۡنَا لَهٗ عَيۡنَ الۡقِطۡرِ ؕ وَمِنَ الۡجِنِّ مَنۡ يَّعۡمَلُ بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّهٖ ؕ وَمَنۡ يَزِغۡ مِنۡهُمۡ عَنۡ اَمۡرِنَا نُذِقۡهُ مِنۡ عَذَابِ السَّعِيۡرِ ١٢
34:12
And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [trip] was a month and its afternoon [trip] was a month. And We caused to flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked before him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.
يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ لَهٗ مَا يَشَآءُ مِنۡ مَّحَارِيۡبَ وَتَمَاثِيۡلَ وَجِفَانٍ كَالۡجَوَابِ وَقُدُوۡرٍ رّٰسِيٰتٍ ؕ اِعۡمَلُوۡۤا اٰلَ دَاوٗدَ شُكۡرًا ؕ وَقَلِيۡلٌ مِّنۡ عِبَادِىَ الشَّكُوۡرُ ١٣
34:13
They made for him whatever he willed of [elevated] chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and cauldrons fixed [in place]. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful.
فَلَمَّا قَضَيۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ الۡمَوۡتَ مَا دَلَّهُمۡ عَلٰى مَوۡتِهٖۤ اِلَّا دَآبَّةُ الۡاَرۡضِ تَاۡكُلُ مِنۡسَاَتَهٗ ۚ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ الۡجِنُّ اَنۡ لَّوۡ كَانُوۡا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ الۡغَيۡبَ مَا لَبِثُوۡا فِىۡ الۡعَذَابِ الۡمُهِيۡنِ ١٤
34:14
And when We decreed for him [Solomon] death, nothing indicated to the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment.
لَقَدۡ كَانَ لِسَبَاٍ فِىۡ مَسۡكَنِهِمۡ اٰيَةٌ ۚ جَنَّتٰنِ عَنۡ يَّمِيۡنٍ وَّشِمَالٍ ؕ كُلُوۡا مِنۡ رِّزۡقِ رَبِّكُمۡ وَاشۡكُرُوۡا لَهٗ ؕ بَلۡدَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَّرَبٌّ غَفُوۡرٌ ١٥
34:15
There was for [the tribe of] Saba' in their dwelling place a sign: two gardens on the right and on the left. [They were told], "Eat from the provision of your Lord and be grateful to Him. A good land [is yours], and a forgiving Lord."
فَاَعۡرَضُوۡا فَاَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَيۡلَ الۡعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلۡنٰهُمۡ بِجَنَّتَيۡهِمۡ جَنَّتَيۡنِ ذَوَاتَىۡ اُكُلٍ خَمۡطٍ وَّاَثۡلٍ وَّشَىۡءٍ مِّنۡ سِدۡرٍ قَلِيۡلٍ ؕ ١٦
34:16
But they turned away [refusing to give thanks]. So We sent upon them the flood of the dam, and We replaced their two [fields of] gardens with gardens having bitter fruit, tamarisks, and something of sparse lote trees.
ذٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنٰهُمۡ بِمَا كَفَرُوۡا ؕ وَهَلۡ نُجٰزِىۡۤ اِلَّا الۡكَفُوۡرَ ١٧
34:17
[That was] the recompense We gave them because they disbelieved. And do We [thus] punish except the ungrateful [disbeliever]?
وَجَعَلۡنَا بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَبَيۡنَ الۡقُرَى الَّتِىۡ بٰرَكۡنَا فِيۡهَا قُرًى ظَاهِرَةً وَّقَدَّرۡنَا فِيۡهَا السَّيۡرَ ؕ سِيۡرُوۡا فِيۡهَا لَيَالِىَ وَاَيَّامًا اٰمِنِيۡنَ ١٨
34:18
And We placed between them and the cities which We had blessed [many] visible cities and determined the [distances] between them; [saying], "Travel between them by night and day in safety."
فَقَالُوۡا رَبَّنَا بٰعِدۡ بَيۡنَ اَسۡفَارِنَا وَظَلَمُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ فَجَعَلۡنٰهُمۡ اَحَادِيۡثَ وَمَزَّقۡنٰهُمۡ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُوۡرٍ ١٩
34:19
But they said, "Our Lord, lengthen the distance between our journeys," and they wronged themselves, so We made them narrations and dispersed them in all directions. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.
وَلَقَدۡ صَدَّقَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ اِبۡلِيۡسُ ظَنَّهٗ فَاتَّبَعُوۡهُ اِلَّا فَرِيۡقًا مِّنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ٢٠
34:20
And Iblīs (Satan) had already confirmed through them his assumption, so they followed him, except for a party of believers.
وَمَا كَانَ لَهٗ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ سُلۡطٰنٍ اِلَّا لِنَعۡلَمَ مَنۡ يُّؤۡمِنُ بِالۡاٰخِرَةِ مِمَّنۡ هُوَ مِنۡهَا فِىۡ شَكٍّ ؕ وَرَبُّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ حَفِيۡظٌ ٢١
34:21
And he had over them no authority except [for the purpose] that We might make evident who believes in the Hereafter from him who is thereof in doubt. And your Lord is, over all things, Guardian.
قُلۡ ادۡعُوۡا الَّذِيۡنَ زَعَمۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ ؕ لَا يَمۡلِكُوۡنَ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَلَا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا لَهُمۡ فِيۡهِمَا مِنۡ شِرۡكٍ وَّمَا لَهٗ مِنۡهُمۡ مِّنۡ ظَهِيۡرٍ ٢٢
34:22
Say, [O Muhammad], "Invoke those you claim [as deities] besides Allah." They do not possess [even] the weight of an atom in the heavens or in the earth, and they do not have therein any partnership [with Him], nor is there for Him from among them any assistant.
وَلَا تَنۡفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ عِنۡدَهٗۤ اِلَّا لِمَنۡ اَذِنَ لَهٗ ؕ حَتّٰىۤ اِذَا فُزِّعَ عَنۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ قَالُوۡا مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمۡ ؕ قَالُوۡا الۡحَقَّ ؕ وَهُوَ الۡعَلِىُّ الۡكَبِيۡرُ ٢٣
34:23
And intercession will not benefit [anyone] with Him except [for] he whom He permits. [And those waiting for permission] will [continue to be] in terror until, when terror is removed from their hearts, they will say [to one another], "What did your Lord say?" They will say, "The truth." And He is the Most High, the Grand.
قُلۡ مَنۡ يَّرۡزُقُكُمۡ مِّنَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ ؕ قُلۡ اللّٰهُ ؕ وَاِنَّاۤ اَوۡ اِيَّاكُمۡ لَعَلٰى هُدًى اَوۡ فِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ ٢٤
34:24
Say, [O Muhammad], "Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "Allah. And indeed, we or you are either upon guidance or in clear error."
قُلۡ لَّا تُسۡـَٔلُوۡنَ عَمَّاۤ اَجۡرَمۡنَا وَلَا نُسۡـَٔلُ عَمَّا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ٢٥
34:25
Say, "You will not be asked about our sins, nor will we be asked about what you do."
قُلۡ يَجۡمَعُ بَيۡنَنَا رَبُّنَا ثُمَّ يَفۡتَحُ بَيۡنَنَا بِالۡحَقِّ ؕ وَهُوَ الۡفَتَّاحُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ ٢٦
34:26
Say, "Our Lord will assemble us, then He will judge between us in truth. And He is the Knowing Judge."
قُلۡ اَرُوۡنِىَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَلۡحَقۡتُمۡ بِهٖ شُرَكَآءَ كَلَّا ؕ بَلۡ هُوَ اللّٰهُ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ ٢٧
34:27
Say, "Show me those whom you have joined with Him as partners. No, rather, He is Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنٰكَ اِلَّا كَآفَّةً لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِيۡرًا وَّنَذِيۡرًا وَّلٰكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٢٨
34:28
And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. But most of the people do not know.
وَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مَتٰى هٰذَا الۡوَعۡدُ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ ٢٩
34:29
And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"
قُلۡ لَّكُمۡ مِّيۡعَادُ يَوۡمٍ لَّا تَسۡتَاۡخِرُوۡنَ عَنۡهُ سَاعَةً وَّلَا تَسۡتَقۡدِمُوۡنَ ٣٠
34:30
Say, "For you is the appointment of a Day that you will not remain behind from it an hour, nor will you precede [it]."
وَقَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لَنۡ نُّؤۡمِنَ بِهٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنِ وَلَا بِالَّذِىۡ بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ ؕ وَلَوۡ تَرٰٓى اِذِ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ مَوۡقُوۡفُوۡنَ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهِمۡ ۙ يَرۡجِعُ بَعۡضُهُمۡ اِلٰى بَعۡضٍ الۡقَوۡلَ ۚ يَقُوۡلُ الَّذِيۡنَ اسۡتُضۡعِفُوۡا لِلَّذِيۡنَ اسۡتَكۡبَرُوۡۤا لَوۡلَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ لَكُنَّا مُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ٣١
34:31
But those who disbelieve say, "We will never believe in this Qur'ān or that which was before it." But if you could see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, reciprocating [blame] among themselves. Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "If not for you, we certainly would have been believers."
قَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ اسۡتَكۡبَرُوۡا لِلَّذِيۡنَ اسۡتُضۡعِفُوۡۤا اَنَحۡنُ صَدَدۡنٰكُمۡ عَنِ الۡهُدٰى بَعۡدَ اِذۡ جَآءَكُمۡ ؕ بَلۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مُّجۡرِمِيۡنَ ٣٢
34:32
Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from guidance after it had come to you? Rather, you were criminals."
وَقَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ اسۡتُضۡعِفُوۡا لِلَّذِيۡنَ اسۡتَكۡبَرُوۡا بَلۡ مَكۡرُ الَّيۡلِ وَالنَّهَارِ اِذۡ تَاۡمُرُوۡنَنَاۤ اَنۡ نَّكۡفُرَ بِاللّٰهِ وَنَجۡعَلَ لَهٗۤ اَنۡدَادًا ؕ وَاَسَرُّوۡا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَاَوُا الۡعَذَابَ ؕ وَجَعَلۡنَا الۡاَغۡلٰلَ فِىۡۤ اَعۡنَاقِ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا ؕ هَلۡ يُجۡزَوۡنَ اِلَّا مَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ٣٣
34:33
Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, [it was] the plot of night and day when you were ordering us to disbelieve in Allah and attribute to Him equals." But they will conceal regret when they see the punishment, and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Are they recompensed except for what they used to do?
وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا فِىۡ قَرۡيَةٍ مِّنۡ نَّذِيۡرٍ اِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوۡهَاۤ اِنَّا بِمَاۤ اُرۡسِلۡتُمۡ بِهٖ كٰفِرُوۡنَ ٣٤
34:34
And We did not send into a city any warner except that its affluent ones said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers."
وَقَالُوۡا نَحۡنُ اَكۡثَرُ اَمۡوَالًا وَّاَوۡلَادًا وَّمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِيۡنَ ٣٥
34:35
And they said, "We are more [in respect of] wealth and children, and we are not to be punished."
قُلۡ اِنَّ رَبِّىۡ يَبۡسُطُ الرِّزۡقَ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٣٦
34:36
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it], but most of the people do not know."
وَمَاۤ اَمۡوَالُكُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَوۡلَادُكُمۡ بِالَّتِىۡ تُقَرِّبُكُمۡ عِنۡدَنَا زُلۡفٰىۤ اِلَّا مَنۡ اٰمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَاُولٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ جَزَآءُ الضِّعۡفِ بِمَا عَمِلُوۡا وَهُمۡ فِىۡ الۡغُرُفٰتِ اٰمِنُوۡنَ ٣٧
34:37
And it is not your wealth nor your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by] one who has believed and done righteousness. For those will be double the reward for what they did, and they will be in [elevated] chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure].
وَالَّذِيۡنَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِىۡ اٰيٰتِنَا مُعٰجِزِيۡنَ اُولٰٓئِكَ فِىۡ الۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُوۡنَ ٣٨
34:38
But those who strive against Our verses to cause [failure] - those will be brought into the punishment [in the Hereafter].
قُلۡ اِنَّ رَبِّىۡ يَبۡسُطُ الرِّزۡقَ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَقۡدِرُ لَهٗ ؕ وَمَاۤ اَنۡفَقۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ شَىۡءٍ فَهُوَ يُخۡلِفُهٗ ۚ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ الرّٰزِقِيۡنَ ٣٩
34:39
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts [it] for him. But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers."
وَيَوۡمَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ جَمِيۡعًا ثُمَّ يَقُوۡلُ لِلۡمَلٰٓئِكَةِ اَهٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ اِيَّاكُمۡ كَانُوۡا يَعۡبُدُوۡنَ ٤٠
34:40
And [mention] the Day when He will gather them all and then say to the angels, "Did these [people] use to worship you?"
قَالُوۡا سُبۡحٰنَكَ اَنۡتَ وَلِيُّنَا مِنۡ دُوۡنِهِمۡ ۚ بَلۡ كَانُوۡا يَعۡبُدُوۡنَ الۡجِنَّ ؕ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ بِهِمۡ مُّؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ٤١
34:41
They will say, "Exalted are You! You are our protector, not them. Rather, they used to worship the jinn; most of them were believers in them."
فَالۡيَوۡمَ لَا يَمۡلِكُ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ نَّفۡعًا وَّلَا ضَرًّا ؕ وَنَقُوۡلُ لِلَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا ذُوۡقُوۡا عَذَابَ النَّارِ الَّتِىۡ كُنۡتُمۡ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ ٤٢
34:42
So today you do not possess for one another [the power to do] neither benefit nor harm. And We will say to those who wronged, "Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you used to deny."
وَاِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِمۡ اٰيٰتُنَا بَيِّنٰتٍ قَالُوۡا مَا هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا رَجُلٌ يُّرِيۡدُ اَنۡ يَّصُدَّكُمۡ عَمَّا كَانَ يَعۡبُدُ اٰبَآؤُكُمۡ ۚ وَقَالُوۡا مَا هٰذَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اِفۡكٌ مُّفۡتَرًى ؕ وَقَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لِلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ ۙ اِنۡ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا سِحۡرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ ٤٣
34:43
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, they say, "This is not but a man who wants to avert you from what your fathers used to worship." And they say, "This is not except an invented falsehood." And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them, "This is not but obvious magic."
وَمَاۤ اٰتَيۡنٰهُمۡ مِّنۡ كُتُبٍ يَّدۡرُسُوۡنَهَا وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡهِمۡ قَبۡلَكَ مِنۡ نَّذِيۡرٍ ؕ ٤٤
34:44
And We had not given them any scriptures which they could study, nor did We send to them before you any warner.
وَكَذَّبَ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَمَا بَلَغُوۡا مِعۡشَارَ مَاۤ اٰتَيۡنٰهُمۡ فَكَذَّبُوۡا رُسُلِىۡ ۚ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيۡرِ ٤٥
34:45
And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not attained a tenth of what We had given the former. But they [the former] denied My messengers, so how [terrible] was My reproach!
قُلۡ اِنَّمَاۤ اَعِظُكُمۡ بِوَاحِدَةٍ ۚ اَنۡ تَقُوۡمُوۡا لِلّٰهِ مَثۡنٰى وَفُرَادٰى ثُمَّ تَتَفَكَّرُوۡا ۬ؕ مَا بِصَاحِبِكُمۡ مِّنۡ جِنَّةٍ ؕ اِنۡ هُوَ اِلَّا نَذِيۡرٌ لَّكُمۡ بَيۡنَ يَدَىۡ عَذَابٍ شَدِيۡدٍ ٤٦
34:46
Say, [O Muhammad], "I merely advise you of one thing - that you stand for Allah, [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment.
قُلۡ مَا سَاَلۡتُكُمۡ مِّنۡ اَجۡرٍ فَهُوَ لَكُمۡ ؕ اِنۡ اَجۡرِىَ اِلَّا عَلَى اللّٰهِ ؕ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ شَهِيۡدٌ ٤٧
34:47
Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is for you. My payment is only from Allah, and He is, over all things, Witness."
قُلۡ اِنَّ رَبِّىۡ يَقۡذِفُ بِالۡحَقِّ ۚ عَلّٰمُ الۡغُيُوۡبِ ٤٨
34:48
Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth [upon His messengers] - Knower of the unseen."
قُلۡ جَآءَ الۡحَقُّ وَمَا يُبۡدِئُ الۡبَاطِلُ وَمَا يُعِيۡدُ ٤٩
34:49
Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]."
قُلۡ اِنِ افۡتَرَيۡتُهٗ فَعَلَىَّ اِجۡرَامِىۡ ۚ وَاَنَا بَرِىۡٓءٌ مِّمَّا تُجۡرِمُوۡنَ ٥٠
34:50
Say, "If I should err, I would err only against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near."
وَلَوۡ تَرٰۤى اِذۡ فَزِعُوۡا فَلَا فَوۡتَ وَاُخِذُوۡا مِنۡ مَّكَانٍ قَرِيۡبٍ ۙ ٥١
34:51
If you could but see when they are terrified [at death] - but there will be no escape - and they will be seized from a nearby place.
وَّقَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا بِهٖ وَاَنّٰى لَهُمُ التَّنَاوُشُ مِنۡ مَّكَانٍ بَعِيۡدٍ ۚ ٥٢
34:52
And they will say, "We believe in it [now]," but how could they attain [faith] from a distant place?
وَقَدۡ كَفَرُوۡا بِهٖ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ۚ وَيَقۡذِفُوۡنَ بِالۡغَيۡبِ مِنۡ مَّكَانٍ بَعِيۡدٍ ؕ ٥٣
34:53
And they had already disbelieved in it before, and they would assault the unseen from a distant place [i.e., by speculation].
وَحِيۡلَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَبَيۡنَ مَا يَشۡتَهُوۡنَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِاَشۡيَاعِهِمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلُ ؕ اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا فِىۡ شَكٍّ مِّنۡهُ مُرِيۡبٍ ٥٤
34:54
And obstruction will be placed between them and that which they desire, as was done with their counterparts before. Indeed, they were in satisfying doubt.
