Juz 21
(29:46 – 33:30)
وَلَا تُجَادِلُوۡۤا اَهۡلَ الۡكِتٰبِ اِلَّا بِالَّتِىۡ هِىَ اَحۡسَنُ ۚ اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا مِنۡهُمۡ ۚ وَقُوۡلُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا بِالَّذِىۡۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡنَا وَاُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡكُمۡ وَاِلٰهُنَا وَاِلٰهُكُمۡ وَاحِدٌ وَّنَحۡنُ لَهٗ مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ ٤٦
29:46
And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except with that which is best, except for those who commit wrong among them, and say, "We have believed in that which was revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one, and we are in submission to Him."
وَكَذٰلِكَ اَنۡزَلۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ الۡكِتٰبَ ؕ فَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰتَيۡنٰهُمُ الۡكِتٰبَ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِهٖ ۚ وَمِنۡ هٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَنۡ يُّؤۡمِنُ بِهٖ ؕ وَمَا يَجۡحَدُ بِاٰيٰتِنَاۤ اِلَّا الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ ٤٧
29:47
And thus have We sent down to you the Book [the Qur'ān]. And those to whom We gave the Scripture before believe in it. And among these [people of Mecca] are those who believe in it. And none reject Our verses except the disbelievers.
وَمَا كُنۡتَ تَتۡلُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلِهٖ مِنۡ كِتٰبٍ وَّلَا تَخُطُّهٗ بِيَمِيۡنِكَ اِذًا لَّارۡتَابَ الۡمُبۡطِلُوۡنَ ٤٨
29:48
And you did not recite before it any scripture, nor did you inscribe one with your right hand. Otherwise the falsifiers would have had [cause for] doubt.
بَلۡ هُوَ اٰيٰتٌۢ بَيِّنٰتٌ فِىۡ صُدُوۡرِ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡعِلۡمَ ؕ وَمَا يَجۡحَدُ بِاٰيٰتِنَاۤ اِلَّا الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ ٤٩
29:49
Rather, it is verses [that are] clear within the breasts of those who have been given knowledge. And none reject Our signs except the wrongdoers.
وَقَالُوۡا لَوۡلَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ اٰيٰتٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّهٖ ؕ قُلۡ اِنَّمَا الۡاٰيٰتُ عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ ؕ وَاِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا نَذِيۡرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ ٥٠
29:50
And they say, "Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, "The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner."
اَوَلَمۡ يَكۡفِهِمۡ اَنَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ الۡكِتٰبَ يُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِمۡ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَرَحۡمَةً وَّذِكۡرٰى لِقَوۡمٍ يُّؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ٥١
29:51
Does it not suffice them that We revealed to you the Book [the Qur'ān] which is recited to them? Indeed in that is a mercy and a reminder for a people who believe.
قُلۡ كَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ بَيۡنِىۡ وَبَيۡنَكُمۡ شَهِيۡدًا ؕ يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا بِالۡبَاطِلِ وَكَفَرُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ اُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الۡخٰسِرُوۡنَ ٥٢
29:52
Say, "Sufficient is Allah between me and you as Witness. He knows what is in the heavens and earth. And they who have believed in falsehood and disbelieved in Allah - it is those who are the losers."
وَيَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَكَ بِالۡعَذَابِ ؕ وَلَوۡلَاۤ اَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَآءَهُمُ الۡعَذَابُ ؕ وَلَيَاۡتِيَنَّهُمۡ بَغۡتَةً وَّهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ؕ ٥٣
29:53
And they impatiently urge you to hasten the punishment. And if not for a specified term, punishment would have reached them. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not.
يَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَكَ بِالۡعَذَابِ ۫ وَاِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيۡطَةٌۢ بِالۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ ٥٤
29:54
They impatiently urge you to hasten the punishment. And indeed, Hell will encompass the disbelievers
يَوۡمَ يَغۡشٰٮهُمُ الۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَمِنۡ تَحۡتِ اَرۡجُلِهِمۡ وَيَقُوۡلُ ذُوۡقُوۡا مَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ؕ ٥٥
29:55
On the Day the punishment will cover them from above them and from beneath their feet and it will be said, "Taste [the consequence of] what you used to do."
يٰعِبَادِىَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنَّ اَرۡضِىۡ وَاسِعَةٌ فَاِيَّايَ فَاعۡبُدُوۡنِ ٥٦
29:56
O My servants who have believed, indeed My earth is spacious, so worship only Me.
كُلُّ نَفۡسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ الۡمَوۡتِ ؕ ثُمَّ اِلَيۡنَا تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ ٥٧
29:57
Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned.
وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمۡ مِّنَ الۡجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا ؕ نِعۡمَ اَجۡرُ الۡعٰمِلِيۡنَ ۙ ٥٨
29:58
And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely assign for them elevated chambers in Paradise underneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein. Excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers,
الَّذِيۡنَ صَبَرُوۡا وَعَلٰى رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُوۡنَ ٥٩
29:59
Who patiently endured and relied upon their Lord.
وَكَاَيِّنۡ مِّنۡ دَآبَّةٍ لَّا تَحۡمِلُ رِزۡقَهَا ؕ اَللّٰهُ يَرۡزُقُهَا وَاِيَّاكُمۡ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ ٦٠
29:60
And how many an animal carries not its [own] sustenance. Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
وَلَئِنۡ سَاَلۡتَهُمۡ مَّنۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمۡسَ وَالۡقَمَرَ لَيَقُوۡلُنَّ اللّٰهُ ؕ فَاَنّٰى يُؤۡفَكُوۡنَ ٦١
29:61
If you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" They would surely say, "Allah." So how are they deluded?
اَللّٰهُ يَبۡسُطُ الرِّزۡقَ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَقۡدِرُ لَهٗ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيۡمٌ ٦٢
29:62
Allah extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts it for him. Indeed, Allah is, of all things, Knowing.
وَلَئِنۡ سَاَلۡتَهُمۡ مَّنۡ نَّزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَاَحۡيَا بِهِ الۡاَرۡضَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَوۡتِهَا لَيَقُوۡلُنَّ اللّٰهُ ؕ قُلِ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ ؕ بَلۡ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ٦٣
29:63
And if you asked them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?" They would surely say, "Allah." Say, "Praise to Allah." But most of them do not reason.
وَمَا هٰذِهِ الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَاۤ اِلَّا لَهۡوٌ وَّلَعِبٌ ؕ وَاِنَّ الدَّارَ الۡاٰخِرَةَ لَهِىَ الۡحَيَوَانُ ۘ لَوۡ كَانُوۡا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٦٤
29:64
And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew.
فَاِذَا رَكِبُوۡا فِى الۡفُلۡكِ دَعَوُا اللّٰهَ مُخۡلِصِيۡنَ لَهُ الدِّيۡنَ ۙ فَلَمَّا نَجّٰٮهُمۡ اِلَى الۡبَرِّ اِذَا هُمۡ يُشۡرِكُوۡنَ ۙ ٦٥
29:65
And when they board a ship, they supplicate Allah, sincerely dedicating their faith to Him. But when He delivers them safely to the land, at once they associate others with Him,
لِيَكۡفُرُوۡا بِمَاۤ اٰتَيۡنٰهُمۡ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوۡا ؕ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٦٦
29:66
So that they may disbelieve in what We have granted them and [allow themselves to] enjoy. But they will soon know.
اَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا اَنَّا جَعَلۡنَا حَرَمًا اٰمِنًا وَّيُتَخَطَّفُ النَّاسُ مِنۡ حَوۡلِهِمۡ ؕ اَفَبِالۡبَاطِلِ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ وَبِنِعۡمَةِ اللّٰهِ يَكۡفُرُوۡنَ ٦٧
29:67
Have they not seen that We made [Makkah] a safe sanctuary, while people are being snatched away all around them? Then in falsehood do they believe, and in the favor of Allah they disbelieve?
وَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِالۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهٗ ؕ اَلَيۡسَ فِىۡ جَهَنَّمَ مَثۡوًى لِّلۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ ٦٨
29:68
And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a residence for the disbelievers?
وَالَّذِيۡنَ جَاهَدُوۡا فِيۡنَا لَنَهۡدِيَنَّهُمۡ سُبُلَنَا ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَمَعَ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ ٦٩
29:69
And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.
الٓمّٓ ١
30:1
Alif, Lām, Mīm.
غُلِبَتِ الرُّوۡمُ ۙ ٢
30:2
The Byzantines have been defeated
فِىۡۤ اَدۡنَى الۡاَرۡضِ وَهُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِهِمۡ سَيَغۡلِبُوۡنَ ۙ ٣
30:3
In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome [their foes]
فِىۡ بِضۡعِ سِنِيۡنَ ؕ لِلّٰهِ الۡاَمۡرُ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ وَمِنۡۢ بَعۡدُ ؕ وَيَوۡمَئِذٍ يَّفۡرَحُ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ۙ ٤
30:4
Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And on that day the believers will rejoice
بِنَصۡرِ اللّٰهِ ؕ يَنۡصُرُ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ ؕ وَهُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الرَّحِيۡمُ ٥
30:5
In the victory of Allah. He grants victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
وَعۡدَ اللّٰهِ ؕ لَا يُخۡلِفُ اللّٰهُ وَعۡدَهٗ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٦
30:6
[It is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know.
يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ظَاهِرًا مِّنَ الۡحَيٰوةِ الدُّنۡيَا ۚ وَهُمۡ عَنِ الۡاٰخِرَةِ هُمۡ غٰفِلُوۡنَ ٧
30:7
They know only the outside [aspect] of the worldly life, but they, concerning the Hereafter, are unaware.
اَوَلَمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُوۡا فِىۡۤ اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ ؕ مَا خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاۤ اِلَّا بِالۡحَقِّ وَاَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ؕ وَاِنَّ كَثِيۡرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَكٰفِرُوۡنَ ٨
30:8
Do they not give thought within themselves? Allah did not create the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them except in truth for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.
اَوَلَمۡ يَسِيۡرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَيَنۡظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ ؕ كَانُوۡۤا اَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةً وَّاَثَارُوا الۡاَرۡضَ وَعَمَرُوۡهَاۤ اَكۡثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوۡهَا وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ ؕ فَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلٰكِنۡ كَانُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُوۡنَ ٩
30:9
Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they tilled the earth and inhabited it in greater numbers than they have inhabited it, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And [it was] not Allah who wronged them, but it was they who were wronging themselves.
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَاقِبَةَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَسَآءُوا السُّوۡۤاٰۤ اَنۡ كَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَكَانُوۡا بِهَا يَسۡتَهۡزِءُوۡنَ ١٠
30:10
Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [result] because they denied the signs of Allah and used to ridicule them.
اَللّٰهُ يَبۡدَؤُا الۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيۡدُهٗ ثُمَّ اِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ ١١
30:11
Allah begins creation; then He repeats it; then to Him you will be returned.
وَيَوۡمَ تَقُوۡمُ السَّاعَةُ يُبۡلِسُ الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ ١٢
30:12
And the Day the Hour appears, the criminals will be struck dumb.
وَلَمۡ يَكُنۡ لَّهُمۡ مِّنۡ شُرَكَآئِهِمۡ شُفَعٰٓؤُا وَكَانُوۡا بِشُرَكَآئِهِمۡ كٰفِرِيۡنَ ١٣
30:13
And there will not be for them among their [alleged] partners any intercessors, and they will [then] be disbelievers in their partners.
وَيَوۡمَ تَقُوۡمُ السَّاعَةُ يَوۡمَئِذٍ يَّتَفَرَّقُوۡنَ ١٤
30:14
And the Day the Hour appears - that Day they will be separated.
فَاَمَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَهُمۡ فِىۡ رَوۡضَةٍ يُّحۡبَرُوۡنَ ١٥
30:15
And as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, they will be in a garden [of Paradise], delighted.
وَاَمَّا الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَكَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا وَلِقَآئِ الۡاٰخِرَةِ فَاُولٰٓئِكَ فِى الۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُوۡنَ ١٦
30:16
But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter - those will be brought into the punishment [for eternity].
فَسُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰهِ حِيۡنَ تُمۡسُوۡنَ وَحِيۡنَ تُصۡبِحُوۡنَ ١٧
30:17
So exalted is Allah when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning.
وَلَهُ الۡحَمۡدُ فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَعَشِيًّا وَّحِيۡنَ تُظۡهِرُوۡنَ ١٨
30:18
And to Him belongs [all] praise in the heavens and the earth, and [exalt Him] in the afternoon and when you appear [at noon].
يُخۡرِجُ الۡحَىَّ مِنَ الۡمَيِّتِ وَيُخۡرِجُ الۡمَيِّتَ مِنَ الۡحَىِّ وَيُحۡىِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا ؕ وَكَذٰلِكَ تُخۡرَجُوۡنَ ١٩
30:19
He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be removed [from the graves].
وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖۤ اَنۡ خَلَقَكُمۡ مِّنۡ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ اِذَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ بَشَرٌ تَنۡتَشِرُوۡنَ ٢٠
30:20
And among His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly, you were human beings spreading out.
وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖۤ اَنۡ خَلَقَ لَكُمۡ مِّنۡ اَنۡفُسِكُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًا لِّتَسۡكُنُوۡۤا اِلَيۡهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَكُمۡ مَّوَدَّةً وَّرَحۡمَةً ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوۡنَ ٢١
30:21
And among His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.
وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ خَلۡقُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَاخۡتِلَافُ اَلۡسِنَتِكُمۡ وَاَلۡوَانِكُمۡ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّلۡعٰلِمِيۡنَ ٢٢
30:22
And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the difference of your languages and colors. Indeed in that are signs for those who know.
وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ مَنَامُكُمۡ بِالَّيۡلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَابۡتِغَآؤُكُمۡ مِّنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ يَّسۡمَعُوۡنَ ٢٣
30:23
And among His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who hear.
وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ يُرِيۡكُمُ الۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفًا وَّطَمَعًا وَّيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَيُحۡىٖ بِهِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ يَّعۡقِلُوۡنَ ٢٤
30:24
And among His signs is that He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.
وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖۤ اَنۡ تَقُوۡمَ السَّمَآءُ وَالۡاَرۡضُ بِاَمۡرِهٖ ؕ ثُمَّ اِذَا دَعَاكُمۡ دَعۡوَةً مِّنَ الۡاَرۡضِ اِذَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ تَخۡرُجُوۡنَ ٢٥
30:25
And among His signs is that the heaven and earth remain by His command. Then when He calls you with a [single] call from the earth, immediately you will come forth.
وَلَهٗ مَنۡ فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ ؕ كُلٌّ لَّهٗ قٰنِتُوۡنَ ٢٦
30:26
And to Him belongs [everyone] in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient to Him.
وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ يَبۡدَؤُا الۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيۡدُهٗ وَهُوَ اَهۡوَنُ عَلَيۡهِ ؕ وَلَهُ الۡمَثَلُ الۡاَعۡلٰى فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَهُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ ٢٧
30:27
And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him. And to Him belongs the highest attribute in the heavens and earth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
ضَرَبَ لَكُمۡ مَّثَلًا مِّنۡ اَنۡفُسِكُمۡ ؕ هَلۡ لَّكُمۡ مِّنۡ مَّا مَلَكَتۡ اَيۡمَانُكُمۡ مِّنۡ شُرَكَآءَ فِىۡ مَا رَزَقۡنٰكُمۡ فَاَنۡتُمۡ فِيۡهِ سَوَآءٌ تَخَافُوۡنَهُمۡ كَخِيۡفَتِكُمۡ اَنۡفُسَكُمۡ ؕ كَذٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الۡاٰيٰتِ لِقَوۡمٍ يَّعۡقِلُوۡنَ ٢٨
30:28
He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you have among those whom your right hands possess any partners in what We have provided for you so that you are equal therein [and] you fear them as you fear yourselves? Thus do We explain the signs in detail for a people who reason.
بَلِ اتَّبَعَ الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡۤا اَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍ ۚ فَمَنۡ يَّهۡدِىۡ مَنۡ اَضَلَّ اللّٰهُ ؕ وَمَا لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ نّٰصِرِيۡنَ ٢٩
30:29
But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allah has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers.
فَاَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّيۡنِ حَنِيۡفًا ؕ فِطۡرَتَ اللّٰهِ الَّتِىۡ فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيۡهَا ؕ لَا تَبۡدِيۡلَ لِخَلۡقِ اللّٰهِ ؕ ذٰلِكَ الدِّيۡنُ الۡقَيِّمُ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ۙ ٣٠
30:30
So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the nature of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.
مُنِيۡبِيۡنَ اِلَيۡهِ وَاتَّقُوۡهُ وَاَقِيۡمُوۡا الصَّلٰوةَ وَلَا تَكُوۡنُوۡا مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِكِيۡنَ ۙ ٣١
30:31
[Adhere to it], turning in repentance to Him, and fear Him and establish prayer and do not be of the polytheists
مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ فَرَّقُوۡا دِيۡنَهُمۡ وَكَانُوۡا شِيَعًا ؕ كُلُّ حِزۡبٍۢ بِمَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ فَرِحُوۡنَ ٣٢
30:32
Of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has.
وَاِذَا مَسَّ النَّاسَ ضُرٌّ دَعَوۡ رَبَّهُمۡ مُّنِيۡبِيۡنَ اِلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ اِذَاۤ اَذَاقَهُمۡ مِّنۡهُ رَحۡمَةً اِذَا فَرِيۡقٌ مِّنۡهُمۡ بِرَبِّهِمۡ يُشۡرِكُوۡنَ ۙ ٣٣
30:33
And when adversity touches the people, they call upon their Lord, turning in repentance to Him. Then when He lets them taste mercy from Him, at once a party of them associate others with their Lord,
لِيَكۡفُرُوۡا بِمَاۤ اٰتَيۡنٰهُمۡ ؕ فَتَمَتَّعُوۡا فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٣٤
30:34
So that they will disregard what We conferred upon them. Then enjoy [this life], for you are going to know.
اَمۡ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطٰنًا فَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُوۡا بِهٖ يُشۡرِكُوۡنَ ٣٥
30:35
Or did We send down to them an authority, and it spoke of what they were associating with Him?
وَاِذَاۤ اَذَقۡنَا النَّاسَ رَحۡمَةً فَرِحُوۡا بِهَا ۚ وَاِنۡ تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَيِّئَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ اِذَا هُمۡ يَقۡنَطُوۡنَ ٣٦
30:36
And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein; but if [evil] befalls them for what their hands have put forth - immediately they despair.
اَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَبۡسُطُ الرِّزۡقَ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ يُّؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ٣٧
30:37
Do they not see that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
فَاٰتِ ذَا الۡقُرۡبٰى حَقَّهٗ وَالۡمِسۡكِيۡنَ وَابۡنَ السَّبِيۡلِ ؕ ذٰلِكَ خَيۡرٌ لِّلَّذِيۡنَ يُرِيۡدُوۡنَ وَجۡهَ اللّٰهِ ۖ وَاُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الۡمُفۡلِحُوۡنَ ٣٨
30:38
So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the Countenance of Allah, and it is they who will be the successful.
وَمَاۤ اٰتَيۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ رِّبًا لِّيَرۡبُوَا۠ فِىۡۤ اَمۡوَالِ النَّاسِ فَلَا يَرۡبُوۡا عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ ۚ وَمَاۤ اٰتَيۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ زَكٰوةٍ تُرِيۡدُوۡنَ وَجۡهَ اللّٰهِ فَاُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الۡمُضۡعِفُوۡنَ ٣٩
30:39
And whatever you give for interest to increase thereby the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakāh, desiring the Countenance of Allah - those are the multipliers.
اَللّٰهُ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُمِيۡتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُحۡيِيۡكُمۡ ؕ هَلۡ مِنۡ شُرَكَآئِكُمۡ مَّنۡ يَّفۡعَلُ مِنۡ ذٰلِكُمۡ مِّنۡ شَىۡءٍ ؕ سُبۡحٰنَهٗ وَتَعٰلٰى عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُوۡنَ ؕ ٤٠
30:40
Allah is the one who created you, then provided for you, then will cause you to die, and then will give you life. Is there any of your "partners" who does anything of that? Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
ظَهَرَ الۡفَسَادُ فِىۡ الۡبَرِّ وَالۡبَحۡرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ اَيۡدِى النَّاسِ لِيُذِيۡقَهُمۡ بَعۡضَ الَّذِىۡ عَمِلُوۡا لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُوۡنَ ٤١
30:41
Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of people have earned, so that He may let them taste some of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness].
قُلۡ سِيۡرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَانۡظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ؕ كَانَ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ مُّشۡرِكِيۡنَ ٤٢
30:42
Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were polytheists."
فَاَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّيۡنِ الۡقَيِّمِ مِنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ يَّاۡتِىَ يَوۡمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهٗ مِنَ اللّٰهِ يَوۡمَئِذٍ يَّصَّدَّعُوۡنَ ٤٣
30:43
So direct your face toward the correct religion before there comes from Allah a Day for which there will be no repelling. That Day, they will be divided.
مَنۡ كَفَرَ فَعَلَيۡهِ كُفۡرُهٗ ۚ وَمَنۡ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِاَنۡفُسِهِمۡ يَمۡهَدُوۡنَ ۙ ٤٤
30:44
Whoever disbelieves - upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief; and whoever does righteousness - they are preparing [a place of rest] for themselves,
لِيَجۡزِىَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ ؕ اِنَّهٗ لَا يُحِبُّ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ ٤٥
30:45
That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers.
وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖۤ اَنۡ يُّرۡسِلَ الرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرٰتٍ وَّلِيُذِيۡقَكُمۡ مِّنۡ رَّحۡمَتِهٖ وَلِتَجۡرِىَ الۡفُلۡكُ بِاَمۡرِهٖ وَلِتَبۡتَغُوۡا مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ ٤٦
30:46
And among His signs is that He sends the winds as good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so that the ships may sail by His command and so that you may seek from His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.
وَلَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِكَ رُسُلًا اِلٰى قَوۡمِهِمۡ فَجَآءُوۡهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ فَانۡتَقَمۡنَا مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَجۡرَمُوۡا ؕ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيۡنَا نَصۡرُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ٤٧
30:47
And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences. So We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers.
اَللّٰهُ الَّذِىۡ يُرۡسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ فَتُثِيۡرُ سَحَابًا فَيَبۡسُطُهٗ فِىۡ السَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ يَشَآءُ وَيَجۡعَلُهٗ كِسَفًا فَتَرَى الۡوَدۡقَ يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡ خِلٰلِهٖ ۚ فَاِذَاۤ اَصَابَ بِهٖ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهٖۤ اِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُوۡنَ ۚ ٤٨
30:48
It is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir up clouds, and He spreads them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so that you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice
وَاِنۡ كَانُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ يُّنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِهٖ لَمُبۡلِسِيۡنَ ٤٩
30:49
Although they were, before it was sent down to them, [in] despair.
فَانۡظُرۡ اِلٰٓى اٰثٰرِ رَحۡمَتِ اللّٰهِ كَيۡفَ يُحۡىِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا ؕ اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ لَمُحۡىِ الۡمَوۡتٰى ۫ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ ٥٠
30:50
So look to the effects of the mercy of Allah - how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life to the dead, and He is over all things competent.
وَلَئِنۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا رِيۡحًا فَرَاَوۡهُ مُصۡفَرًّا لَّظَلُّوۡا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ يَكۡفُرُوۡنَ ٥١
30:51
But if We should send a [period of] wind [with drought] and they saw [their crops] yellowed, they would remain thereafter disbelievers.
فَاِنَّكَ لَا تُسۡمِعُ الۡمَوۡتٰى وَلَا تُسۡمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَآءَ اِذَا وَلَّوۡا مُدۡبِرِيۡنَ ٥٢
30:52
So indeed, you cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating.
وَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ بِهٰدِ الۡعُمۡىِ عَنۡ ضَلٰلَتِهِمۡ ؕ اِنۡ تُسۡمِعُ اِلَّا مَنۡ يُّؤۡمِنُ بِاٰيٰتِنَا فَهُمۡ مُّسۡلِمُوۡنَ ٥٣
30:53
And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our verses and submit [to Allah].
اَللّٰهُ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَكُمۡ مِّنۡ ضَعۡفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ضَعۡفٍ قُوَّةً ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّةٍ ضَعۡفًا وَّشَيۡبَةً ؕ يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ وَهُوَ الۡعَلِيۡمُ الۡقَدِيۡرُ ٥٤
30:54
Allah is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent.
وَيَوۡمَ تَقُوۡمُ السَّاعَةُ يُقۡسِمُ الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ ۙ مَا لَبِثُوۡا غَيۡرَ سَاعَةٍ ؕ كَذٰلِكَ كَانُوۡا يُؤۡفَكُوۡنَ ٥٥
30:55
And the Day the Hour appears, the criminals will swear that they had remained [in the world] but an hour. Thus they were deluded.
وَقَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡعِلۡمَ وَالۡاِيۡمَانَ لَقَدۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡ فِىۡ كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِ اِلٰى يَوۡمِ الۡبَعۡثِ ۫ فَهٰذَا يَوۡمُ الۡبَعۡثِ وَلٰكِنَّكُمۡ كُنۡتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٥٦
30:56
But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained at the decree of Allah until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection; but you did not used to know."
فَيَوۡمَئِذٍ لَّا يَنۡفَعُ الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُسۡتَعۡتَبُوۡنَ ٥٧
30:57
So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah].
وَلَقَدۡ ضَرَبۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِىۡ هٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنِ مِنۡ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ ؕ وَلَئِنۡ جِئۡتَهُمۡ بِاٰيَةٍ لَّيَقُوۡلَنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡۤا اِنۡ اَنۡتُمۡ اِلَّا مُبۡطِلُوۡنَ ٥٨
30:58
And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur'ān from every [kind of] example. But if you brought them a sign, those who disbelieve would surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers."
كَذٰلِكَ يَطۡبَعُ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى قُلُوۡبِ الَّذِيۡنَ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٥٩
30:59
Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who do not know.
فَاصۡبِرۡ اِنَّ وَعۡدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ ۙ وَّلَا يَسۡتَخِفَّنَّكَ الَّذِيۡنَ لَا يُوۡقِنُوۡنَ ٦٠
30:60
So be patient, [O Muhammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let not those who are not certain [in faith] disquiet you.
الٓمّٓ ١
31:1
Alif, Lām, Mīm.
تِلۡكَ اٰيٰتُ الۡكِتٰبِ الۡحَكِيۡمِ ٢
31:2
These are the verses of the wise Book,
هُدًى وَّرَحۡمَةً لِّلۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ ۙ ٣
31:3
As guidance and mercy for the doers of good
الَّذِيۡنَ يُقِيۡمُوۡنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُؤۡتُوۡنَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَهُمۡ بِالۡاٰخِرَةِ هُمۡ يُوۡقِنُوۡنَ ؕ ٤
31:4
Who establish prayer and give zakāh, and they, regarding the Hereafter, are certain.
اُولٰٓئِكَ عَلٰى هُدًى مِّنۡ رَّبِّهِمۡ ۫ وَاُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الۡمُفۡلِحُوۡنَ ٥
31:5
Those are on [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ يَّشۡتَرِىۡ لَهۡوَ الۡحَدِيۡثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍ وَّيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا ؕ اُولٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيۡنٌ ٦
31:6
And of the people is he who buys amusing discourse [to divert others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.
وَاِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِ اٰيٰتُنَا وَلّٰى مُسۡتَكۡبِرًا كَاَنۡ لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَا كَاَنَّ فِىۡۤ اُذُنَيۡهِ وَقۡرًا ۚ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيۡمٍ ٧
31:7
And when Our verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard them, as if there was in his ears deafness. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنّٰتُ النَّعِيۡمِ ٨
31:8
Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are the Gardens of Pleasure,
خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا ؕ وَعۡدَ اللّٰهِ حَقًّا ؕ وَهُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ ٩
31:9
Abiding eternally therein. [It is] the promise of Allah, [which is] truth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ بِغَيۡرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوۡنَهَا وَاَلۡقٰى فِى الۡاَرۡضِ رَوَاسِىَ اَنۡ تَمِيۡدَ بِكُمۡ وَبَثَّ فِيۡهَا مِنۡ كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ ؕ وَاَنۡزَلۡنَا مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَاَنۡۢبَتۡنَا فِيۡهَا مِنۡ كُلِّ زَوۡجٍ كَرِيۡمٍ ١٠
31:10
He created the heavens without pillars that you see and placed on the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and scattered therein from every moving creature. And We sent down from the sky rain and caused to grow therein [something] of every noble kind.
هٰذَا خَلۡقُ اللّٰهِ فَاَرُوۡنِىۡ مَاذَا خَلَقَ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِهٖ ؕ بَلِ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ فِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ ١١
31:11
This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those besides Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error.
وَلَقَدۡ اٰتَيۡنَا لُقۡمٰنَ الۡحِكۡمَةَ اَنِ اشۡكُرۡ لِلّٰهِ ؕ وَمَنۡ يَّشۡكُرۡ فَاِنَّمَا يَشۡكُرُ لِنَفۡسِهٖ ۚ وَمَنۡ كَفَرَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيۡدٌ ١٢
31:12
And We had certainly given Luqmān wisdom [and commanded], "Be grateful to Allah." And whoever is grateful - he is grateful for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever denies [His favor] - then indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.
وَاِذۡ قَالَ لُقۡمٰنُ لِابۡنِهٖ وَهُوَ يَعِظُهٗ يٰبُنَىَّ لَا تُشۡرِكۡ بِاللّٰهِ ؕ اِنَّ الشِّرۡكَ لَظُلۡمٌ عَظِيۡمٌ ١٣
31:13
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Luqmān said to his son while he was instructing him, "O my son, do not associate [anything] with Allah. Indeed, association [with Him] is great injustice."
وَوَصَّيۡنَا الۡاِنۡسَانَ بِوَالِدَيۡهِ ۚ حَمَلَتۡهُ اُمُّهٗ وَهۡنًا عَلٰى وَهۡنٍ وَّفِصَالُهٗ فِىۡ عَامَيۡنِ اَنِ اشۡكُرۡ لِىۡ وَلِوَالِدَيۡكَ ؕ اِلَىَّ الۡمَصِيۡرُ ١٤
31:14
And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him through hardship upon hardship, and his weaning is in two years. [Be grateful] to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination.
وَاِنۡ جَاهَدٰكَ عَلٰىۤ اَنۡ تُشۡرِكَ بِىۡ مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهٖ عِلۡمٌ فَلَا تُطِعۡهُمَا وَصَاحِبۡهُمَا فِىۡ الدُّنۡيَا مَعۡرُوۡفًا ۖ وَّاتَّبِعۡ سَبِيۡلَ مَنۡ اَنَابَ اِلَىَّ ۚ ثُمَّ اِلَىَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَاُنَبِّئُكُمۡ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ١٥
31:15
But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness and follow the way of those who turn back to Me [in repentance]. Then to Me will be your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do.
يٰبُنَىَّ اِنَّهَاۤ اِنۡ تَكُ مِثۡقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنۡ خَرۡدَلٍ فَتَكُنۡ فِىۡ صَخۡرَةٍ اَوۡ فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ اَوۡ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ يَاۡتِ بِهَا اللّٰهُ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَطِيۡفٌ خَبِيۡرٌ ۚ ١٦
31:16
[And Luqmān said], "O my son, indeed if there should be the weight of a mustard seed and it be in a rock or [anywhere] in the heavens or on earth, Allah will bring it forth. Indeed, Allah is Subtle and Acquainted."
يٰبُنَىَّ اَقِمِ الصَّلٰوةَ وَاۡمُرۡ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ وَانۡهَ عَنِ الۡمُنۡكَرِ وَاصۡبِرۡ عَلٰى مَاۤ اَصَابَكَ ؕ اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ مِنۡ عَزۡمِ الۡاُمُوۡرِ ۚ ١٧
31:17
"O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, that is [part] of the matters [requiring] determination."
وَلَا تُصَعِّرۡ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمۡشِ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ مَرَحًا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخۡتَالٍ فَخُوۡرٍ ۚ ١٨
31:18
"And do not turn your cheek toward people in contempt and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful."
وَاقۡصِدۡ فِىۡ مَشۡيِكَ وَاغۡضُضۡ مِنۡ صَوۡتِكَ ؕ اِنَّ اَنۡكَرَ الۡاَصۡوَاتِ لَصَوۡتُ الۡحَمِيۡرِ ١٩
31:19
"And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys."
اَلَمۡ تَرَوۡا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُمۡ مَّا فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ وَاَسۡبَغَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ نِعَمَهٗ ظَاهِرَةً وَّبَاطِنَةً ؕ وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ يُّجَادِلُ فِىۡ اللّٰهِ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍ وَّلَا هُدًى وَّلَا كِتٰبٍ مُّنِيۡرٍ ٢٠
31:20
Do you not see that Allah has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and has lavished upon you His blessings, both apparent and hidden? But among the people is he who disputes concerning Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book.
وَاِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ قَالُوۡا بَلۡ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ اٰبَآءَنَا ؕ اَوَلَوۡ كَانَ الشَّيۡطٰنُ يَدۡعُوۡهُمۡ اِلٰى عَذَابِ السَّعِيۡرِ ٢١
31:21
And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even though Satan invites them to the punishment of the Blaze?
وَمَنۡ يُّسۡلِمۡ وَجۡهَهٗۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنٌ فَقَدِ اسۡتَمۡسَكَ بِالۡعُرۡوَةِ الۡوُثۡقٰى ؕ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ عٰقِبَةُ الۡاُمُوۡرِ ٢٢
31:22
And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah belongs the outcome of [all] matters.
وَمَنۡ كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحۡزُنۡكَ كُفۡرُهٗ ؕ اِلَيۡنَا مَرۡجِعُهُمۡ فَنُنَبِّئُهُمۡ بِمَا عَمِلُوۡا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِيۡمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوۡرِ ٢٣
31:23
And whoever has disbelieved - let not his disbelief grieve you. To Us is their return, and We will inform them of what they did. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.
نُمَتِّعُهُمۡ قَلِيۡلًا ثُمَّ نَضۡطَرُّهُمۡ اِلٰى عَذَابٍ غَلِيۡظٍ ٢٤
31:24
We grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will compel them to a severe punishment.
وَلَئِنۡ سَاَلۡتَهُمۡ مَّنۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ لَيَقُوۡلُنَّ اللّٰهُ ؕ قُلِ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ ؕ بَلۡ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٢٥
31:25
And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allah." But most of them do not know.
لِلّٰهِ مَا فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الۡغَنِىُّ الۡحَمِيۡدُ ٢٦
31:26
To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.
وَلَوۡ اَنَّمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ مِنۡ شَجَرَةٍ اَقۡلَامٌ وَّالۡبَحۡرُ يَمُدُّهٗ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ سَبۡعَةُ اَبۡحُرٍ مَّا نَفِدَتۡ كَلِمٰتُ اللّٰهِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَزِيۡزٌ حَكِيۡمٌ ٢٧
31:27
And if whatever trees upon the earth were pens and the sea [was ink], extended thereafter by seven [more] seas, the words of Allah would not be exhausted. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
مَا خَلۡقُكُمۡ وَلَا بَعۡثُكُمۡ اِلَّا كَنَفۡسٍ وَّاحِدَةٍ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِيۡعٌۢ بَصِيۡرٌ ٢٨
31:28
The creation of you and your resurrection are only as [the creation and resurrection of] a single soul. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.
اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يُوۡلِجُ الَّيۡلَ فِىۡ النَّهَارِ وَيُوۡلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِىۡ الَّيۡلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمۡسَ وَالۡقَمَرَ ؕ كُلٌّ يَجۡرِىۡۤ اِلٰىۤ اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ خَبِيۡرٌ ٢٩
31:29
Do you not see that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah, with whatever you do, is Acquainted?
ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الۡحَقُّ وَاَنَّ مَا يَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِهِ الۡبَاطِلُ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الۡعَلِىُّ الۡكَبِيۡرُ ٣٠
31:30
That is because Allah is the Truth, and because what they call upon besides Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand.
اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّ الۡفُلۡكَ تَجۡرِىۡ فِىۡ الۡبَحۡرِ بِنِعۡمَتِ اللّٰهِ لِيُرِيَكُمۡ مِّنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُوۡرٍ ٣١
31:31
Do you not see that the ships sail through the sea by the favor of Allah that He may show you of His signs? Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.
وَاِذَا غَشِيَهُمۡ مَّوۡجٌ كَالظُّلَلِ دَعَوُا اللّٰهَ مُخۡلِصِيۡنَ لَهُ الدِّيۡنَ ۚ فَلَمَّا نَجّٰٮهُمۡ اِلَى الۡبَرِّ فَمِنۡهُمۡ مُّقۡتَصِدٌ ؕ وَمَا يَجۡحَدُ بِاٰيٰتِنَاۤ اِلَّا كُلُّ خَتَّارٍ كَفُوۡرٍ ٣٢
31:32
And when waves cover them like awnings, they supplicate Allah, sincerely dedicating their faith to Him. But when He delivers them to the land, then among them is an undecided one. And none rejects Our signs except every treacherous ingrate.
يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوۡا رَبَّكُمۡ وَاخۡشَوۡا يَوۡمًا لَّا يَجۡزِىۡ وَالِدٌ عَنۡ وَّلَدِهٖ وَلَا مَوۡلُوۡدٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَنۡ وَّالِدِهٖ شَيۡئًا ؕ اِنَّ وَعۡدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمۡ بِاللّٰهِ الۡغَرُوۡرُ ٣٣
31:33
O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will any son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and let not the chief deluder [Satan] delude you about Allah.
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عِنۡدَهٗ عِلۡمُ السَّاعَةِ ۚ وَيُنَزِّلُ الۡغَيۡثَ ۚ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡحَامِ ؕ وَمَا تَدۡرِىۡ نَفۡسٌ مَّاذَا تَكۡسِبُ غَدًا ؕ وَمَا تَدۡرِىۡ نَفۡسٌۢ بِاَىِّ اَرۡضٍ تَمُوۡتُ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِيۡمٌ خَبِيۡرٌ ٣٤
31:34
Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.
الٓمّٓ ١
32:1
Alif, Lām, Mīm.
تَنۡزِيۡلُ الۡكِتٰبِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيۡهِ مِنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ ؕ ٢
32:2
The revelation of the Book - there is no doubt about it - is from the Lord of the worlds.
اَمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ افۡتَرٰٮهُ ۚ بَلۡ هُوَ الۡحَقُّ مِنۡ رَّبِّكَ لِتُنۡذِرَ قَوۡمًا مَّاۤ اَتٰٮهُمۡ مِّنۡ نَّذِيۡرٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَهۡتَدُوۡنَ ٣
32:3
Or do they say, "He forged it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you, that they might be guided.
اللّٰهُ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فِىۡ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسۡتَوٰى عَلَى الۡعَرۡشِ ؕ مَا لَكُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِهٖ مِنۡ وَّلِىٍّ وَّلَا شَفِيۡعٍ ؕ اَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُوۡنَ ٤
32:4
It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded?
يُدَبِّرُ الۡاَمۡرَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ اِلَى الۡاَرۡضِ ثُمَّ يَعۡرُجُ اِلَيۡهِ فِىۡ يَوۡمٍ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهٗۤ اَلۡفَ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّوۡنَ ٥
32:5
He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.
ذٰلِكَ عٰلِمُ الۡغَيۡبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الرَّحِيۡمُ ۙ ٦
32:6
That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,
الَّذِىۡۤ اَحۡسَنَ كُلَّ شَىۡءٍ خَلَقَهٗ وَبَدَاَ خَلۡقَ الۡاِنۡسَانِ مِنۡ طِيۡنٍ ۚ ٧
32:7
Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.
ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسۡلَهٗ مِنۡ سُلٰلَةٍ مِّنۡ مَّآءٍ مَّهِيۡنٍ ۚ ٨
32:8
Then He made his progeny from an extract of liquid despised.
ثُمَّ سَوّٰٮهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيۡهِ مِنۡ رُّوۡحِهٖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمۡعَ وَالۡاَبۡصٰرَ وَالۡاَفۡـئِدَةَ ؕ قَلِيۡلًا مَّا تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ ٩
32:9
Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you the hearing and the vision and the hearts; little are you grateful.
وَقَالُوۡۤا ءَاِذَا ضَلَلۡنَا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ اَءِنَّا لَفِىۡ خَلۡقٍ جَدِيۡدٍ ۬ۙ بَلۡ هُمۡ بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمۡ كٰفِرُوۡنَ ١٠
32:10
And they say, "When we are lost within the earth, will we indeed be [recreated] in a new creation?" Rather, they, in the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.
قُلۡ يَتَوَفّٰٮكُمۡ مَّلَكُ الۡمَوۡتِ الَّذِىۡ وُكِّلَ بِكُمۡ ثُمَّ اِلٰى رَبِّكُمۡ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ ١١
32:11
Say, "The angel of death who has been entrusted with you will take your souls; then to your Lord you will be returned."
وَلَوۡ تَرٰٓى اِذِ الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ نَاكِسُوۡا رُءُوۡسِهِمۡ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهِمۡ ؕ رَبَّنَاۤ اَبۡصَرۡنَا وَسَمِعۡنَا فَارۡجِعۡنَا نَعۡمَلۡ صَالِحًا اِنَّا مُوۡقِنُوۡنَ ١٢
32:12
If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now] certain."
وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَاٰتَيۡنَا كُلَّ نَفۡسٍ هُدٰٮهَا وَلٰكِنۡ حَقَّ الۡقَوۡلُ مِنِّىۡ لَاَمۡلَاَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ الۡجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَ ١٣
32:13
And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word [i.e., decree] from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and men all together."
فَذُوۡقُوۡا بِمَا نَسِيۡتُمۡ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِكُمۡ هٰذَا ۚ اِنَّا نَسِيۡنٰكُمۡ ۖ وَذُوۡقُوۡا عَذَابَ الۡخُلۡدِ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ١٤
32:14
So taste [the punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours. Indeed, We have forgotten you, and taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do.
اِنَّمَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِاٰيٰتِنَا الَّذِيۡنَ اِذَا ذُكِّرُوۡا بِهَا خَرُّوۡا سُجَّدًا وَّسَبَّحُوۡا بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَكۡبِرُوۡنَ ؕ ١٥
32:15
Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.
تَتَجَافٰى جُنُوۡبُهُمۡ عَنِ الۡمَضَاجِعِ يَدۡعُوۡنَ رَبَّهُمۡ خَوۡفًا وَّطَمَعًا وَّمِمَّا رَزَقۡنٰهُمۡ يُنۡفِقُوۡنَ ١٦
32:16
They arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend.
فَلَا تَعۡلَمُ نَفۡسٌ مَّاۤ اُخۡفِىَ لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ قُرَّةِ اَعۡيُنٍ ۚ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ١٧
32:17
And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do.
اَفَمَنۡ كَانَ مُؤۡمِنًا كَمَنۡ كَانَ فَاسِقًا ؕ لَا يَسۡتَوٗنَ ١٨
32:18
Then is he who was a believer like he who was defiantly disobedient? They are not equal.
اَمَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ جَنّٰتُ الۡمَاۡوٰى نُزُلًاۢ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ١٩
32:19
As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of [eternal] refuge as accommodation for what they used to do.
وَاَمَّا الَّذِيۡنَ فَسَقُوۡا فَمَاۡوٰٮهُمُ النَّارُ ؕ كُلَّمَاۤ اَرَادُوۡۤا اَنۡ يَّخۡرُجُوۡا مِنۡهَاۤ اُعِيۡدُوۡا فِيۡهَا وَقِيۡلَ لَهُمۡ ذُوۡقُوۡا عَذَابَ النَّارِ الَّذِىۡ كُنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ ٢٠
32:20
But as for those who committed defiance, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge therefrom, they will be returned to it, and it will be said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny."
وَلَنُذِيۡقَنَّهُمۡ مِّنَ الۡعَذَابِ الۡاَدۡنٰى دُوۡنَ الۡعَذَابِ الۡاَكۡبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُوۡنَ ٢١
32:21
And We will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will return [to righteousness].
وَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنۡ ذُكِّرَ بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهٖ ثُمَّ اَعۡرَضَ عَنۡهَا ؕ اِنَّا مِنَ الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ مُنۡتَقِمُوۡنَ ٢٢
32:22
And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord but then turns away from them? Indeed, We, from the criminals, will take retribution.
وَلَقَدۡ اٰتَيۡنَا مُوۡسٰى الۡكِتٰبَ فَلَا تَكُنۡ فِىۡ مِرۡيَةٍ مِّنۡ لِّقَآئِهٖ وَجَعَلۡنٰهُ هُدًى لِّبَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ ۚ ٢٣
32:23
And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting [with Allah]. And We made it guidance for the Children of Israel.
وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ اَئِمَّةً يَّهۡدُوۡنَ بِاَمۡرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوۡا ؕ وَكَانُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا يُوۡقِنُوۡنَ ٢٤
32:24
And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [only] when they were certain of Our signs.
اِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَفۡصِلُ بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ الۡقِيٰمَةِ فِىۡ مَا كَانُوۡا فِيۡهِ يَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ ٢٥
32:25
Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.
اَوَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ اَهۡلَكۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ مِّنَ الۡقُرُوۡنِ يَمۡشُوۡنَ فِىۡ مَسٰكِنِهِمۡ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ ؕ اَفَلَا يَسۡمَعُوۡنَ ٢٦
32:26
Does it not make clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them as they walk in their [former] dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; so will they not hear?
اَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا اَنَّا نَسُوۡقُ الۡمَآءَ اِلَى الۡاَرۡضِ الۡجُرُزِ فَنُخۡرِجُ بِهٖ زَرۡعًا تَاۡكُلُ مِنۡهُ اَنۡعَامُهُمۡ وَاَنۡفُسُهُمۡ ؕ اَفَلَا يُبۡصِرُوۡنَ ٢٧
32:27
Have they not seen that We drive the water to the dry land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [also] their selves? Then will they not look?
وَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مَتٰى هٰذَا الۡفَتۡحُ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ ٢٨
32:28
And they say, "When is this decision, if you should be truthful?"
قُلۡ يَوۡمَ الۡفَتۡحِ لَا يَنۡفَعُ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡۤا اِيۡمَانُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنۡظَرُوۡنَ ٢٩
32:29
Say, [O Muhammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved."
فَاَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَانۡتَظِرۡ اِنَّهُمۡ مُّنۡتَظِرُوۡنَ ٣٠
32:30
So turn away from them and wait; indeed, they [too] are waiting.
يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ اتَّقِ اللّٰهَ وَلَا تُطِعِ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ وَالۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَلِيۡمًا حَكِيۡمًا ۙ ١
33:1
O Prophet, fear Allah and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.
وَاتَّبِعۡ مَا يُوۡحٰىۤ اِلَيۡكَ مِنۡ رَّبِّكَ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ خَبِيۡرًا ۙ ٢
33:2
And follow what is revealed to you from your Lord. Indeed, Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.
وَّتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى اللّٰهِ ؕ وَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ وَكِيۡلًا ٣
33:3
And rely upon Allah; and sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.
مَا جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِّنۡ قَلۡبَيۡنِ فِىۡ جَوۡفِهٖ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ اَزۡوَاجَكُمُ الّٰٓىِٕ تُظٰهِرُوۡنَ مِنۡهُنَّ اُمَّهٰتِكُمۡ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ اَدۡعِيَآءَكُمۡ اَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ ؕ ذٰلِكُمۡ قَوۡلُكُمۡ بِاَفۡوَاهِكُمۡ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَقُوۡلُ الۡحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهۡدِى السَّبِيۡلَ ٤
33:4
Allah has not made for a man two hearts in his interior. And He has not made your wives whom you declare unlawful your mothers. And He has not made your adopted sons your [true] sons. That is [merely] your saying by your mouths, but Allah says the truth, and He guides to the [right] way.
اُدۡعُوۡهُمۡ لِاٰبَآئِهِمۡ هُوَ اَقۡسَطُ عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ ۚ فَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡۤا اٰبَآءَهُمۡ فَاِخۡوَانُكُمۡ فِىۡ الدِّيۡنِ وَمَوَالِيۡكُمۡ ؕ وَلَيۡسَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ جُنَاحٌ فِيۡمَاۤ اَخۡطَاۡتُمۡ بِهٖ وَلٰكِنۡ مَّا تَعَمَّدَتۡ قُلُوۡبُكُمۡ ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرًا رَّحِيۡمًا ٥
33:5
Call them by [the names of] their fathers; it is more just in the sight of Allah. But if you do not know their fathers, then they are your brothers in religion and your protectors. And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [only for] what your hearts intended. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
اَلنَّبِىُّ اَوۡلٰى بِالۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ مِنۡ اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ وَاَزۡوَاجُهٗۤ اُمَّهٰتُهُمۡ ؕ وَاُولُوۡ الۡاَرۡحَامِ بَعۡضُهُمۡ اَوۡلٰى بِبَعۡضٍ فِىۡ كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ وَالۡمُهٰجِرِيۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ تَفۡعَلُوۡۤا اِلٰىۤ اَوۡلِيٰٓئِكُمۡ مَّعۡرُوۡفًا ؕ كَانَ ذٰلِكَ فِىۡ الۡكِتٰبِ مَسۡطُوۡرًا ٦
33:6
The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [as] their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the Book inscribed.
وَاِذۡ اَخَذۡنَا مِنَ النَّبِيّٖنَ مِيۡثَاقَهُمۡ وَمِنۡكَ وَمِنۡ نُّوۡحٍ وَّاِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَمُوۡسٰى وَعِيۡسَى ابۡنِ مَرۡيَمَ ۖ وَاَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ مِّيۡثَاقًا غَلِيۡظًا ۙ ٧
33:7
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.
لِّيَسۡـئَلَ الصّٰدِقِيۡنَ صِدۡقَهُمۡ ۚ وَاَعَدَّ لِلۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ عَذَابًا اَلِيۡمًا ؕ ٨
33:8
That He may ask the truthful about their truth. And He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful punishment.
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اذۡكُرُوۡا نِعۡمَةَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اِذۡ جَآءَتۡكُمۡ جُنُوۡدٌ فَاَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ رِيۡحًا وَّجُنُوۡدًا لَّمۡ تَرَوۡهَا ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ بَصِيۡرًا ۚ ٩
33:9
O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allah upon you when armies came to [attack] you and We sent upon them a wind and armies [of angels] you did not see. And ever is Allah, of what you do, Seeing.
اِذۡ جَآءُوۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ فَوۡقِكُمۡ وَمِنۡ اَسۡفَلَ مِنۡكُمۡ وَاِذۡ زَاغَتِ الۡاَبۡصَارُ وَبَلَغَتِ الۡقُلُوۡبُ الۡحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ الظُّنُوۡنَا ؕ ١٠
33:10
When they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when eyes shifted [with horror] and hearts reached [as high as] the throats and you assumed about Allah [various] assumptions.
هُنَالِكَ ابۡتُلِىَ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ وَزُلۡزِلُوۡا زِلۡزَالًا شَدِيۡدًا ١١
33:11
There, the believers were sorely tried and shaken with a mighty shaking.
وَاِذۡ يَقُوۡلُ الۡمُنٰفِقُوۡنَ وَالَّذِيۡنَ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ مَّرَضٌ مَّا وَعَدَنَا اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗۤ اِلَّا غُرُوۡرًا ١٢
33:12
And when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease said, "Allah and His Messenger did not promise us except delusion."
وَاِذۡ قَالَتۡ طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنۡهُمۡ يٰۤاَهۡلَ يَثۡرِبَ لَا مُقَامَ لَكُمۡ فَارۡجِعُوۡا ۚ وَيَسۡتَاۡذِنُ فَرِيۡقٌ مِّنۡهُمُ النَّبِىَّ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ اِنَّ بُيُوۡتَنَا عَوۡرَةٌ ؕ وَمَا هِىَ بِعَوۡرَةٍ ؕ اِنۡ يُّرِيۡدُوۡنَ اِلَّا فِرَارًا ١٣
33:13
And when a faction of them said, "O people of Yathrib (Medina), there is no stability for you [here], so return [home]." And a party of them asked permission of the Prophet, saying, "Indeed, our houses are exposed," while they were not exposed. They did not intend except to flee.
وَلَوۡ دُخِلَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ اَقۡطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُوا الۡفِتۡنَةَ لَاٰتَوۡهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُوۡا بِهَاۤ اِلَّا يَسِيۡرًا ١٤
33:14
And if entry had been effected upon them from all their sides [of Medina] and they had been asked to commit sedition, they would have done so, and [in that] they would have hesitated only briefly.
وَلَقَدۡ كَانُوۡا عٰهَدُوا اللّٰهَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ لَا يُوَلُّوۡنَ الۡاَدۡبَارَ ؕ وَكَانَ عَهۡدُ اللّٰهِ مَسۡئُوۡلًا ١٥
33:15
And they had already promised Allah before not to turn their backs. And the promise of Allah is ever [that about which] responsibility will be assessed.
قُلۡ لَّنۡ يَّنۡفَعَكُمُ الۡفِرَارُ اِنۡ فَرَرۡتُمۡ مِّنَ الۡمَوۡتِ اَوِ الۡقَتۡلِ وَاِذًا لَّا تُمَتَّعُوۡنَ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلًا ١٦
33:16
Say, [O Muhammad], "Flight will not benefit you if you should flee from death or killing; and then [if you escape], you will not be allowed to enjoy life except for a short time."
قُلۡ مَنۡ ذَا الَّذِىۡ يَعۡصِمُكُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ اِنۡ اَرَادَ بِكُمۡ سُوۡۤءًا اَوۡ اَرَادَ بِكُمۡ رَحۡمَةً ؕ وَلَا يَجِدُوۡنَ لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِيًّا وَّلَا نَصِيۡرًا ١٧
33:17
Say, "Who is it that can protect you from Allah if He intends for you an ill or intends for you a mercy?" And they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or any helper.
قَدۡ يَعۡلَمُ اللّٰهُ الۡمُعَوِّقِيۡنَ مِنۡكُمۡ وَالۡقَآئِلِيۡنَ لِاِخۡوٰنِهِمۡ هَلُمَّ اِلَيۡنَا ۚ وَلَا يَاۡتُوۡنَ الۡبَاۡسَ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلًا ۙ ١٨
33:18
Already Allah knows the obstructers among you and those who say to their brothers, "Come to us," and they do not come to battle, except for a brief period,
اَشِحَّةً عَلَيۡكُمۡ ۚ فَاِذَا جَآءَ الۡخَوۡفُ رَاَيۡتَهُمۡ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَيۡكَ تَدُوۡرُ اَعۡيُنُهُمۡ كَالَّذِىۡ يُغۡشٰى عَلَيۡهِ مِنَ الۡمَوۡتِ ۚ فَاِذَا ذَهَبَ الۡخَوۡفُ سَلَقُوۡكُمۡ بِاَلۡسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ اَشِحَّةً عَلَى الۡخَيۡرِ ؕ اُولٰٓئِكَ لَمۡ يُؤۡمِنُوۡا فَاَحۡبَطَ اللّٰهُ اَعۡمَالَهُمۡ ؕ وَكَانَ ذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ يَسِيۡرًا ١٩
33:19
Stingy toward you. And when fear comes, you see them looking at you, their eyes revolving like [those of] one overcome by death. But when fear departs, they lash you with sharp tongues, stingy toward [contributing to] the good. Those have not believed, so Allah has rendered their deeds worthless, and ever is that, for Allah, easy.
يَحۡسَبُوۡنَ الۡاَحۡزَابَ لَمۡ يَذۡهَبُوۡا ۚ وَاِنۡ يَّاۡتِ الۡاَحۡزَابُ يَوَدُّوۡا لَوۡ اَنَّهُمۡ بَادُوۡنَ فِىۡ الۡاَعۡرَابِ يَسۡئَلُوۡنَ عَنۡ اَنۡۢبَآئِكُمۡ ۚ وَلَوۡ كَانُوۡا فِيۡكُمۡ مَّا قَاتَلُوۡۤا اِلَّا قَلِيۡلًا ٢٠
33:20
They think that the Confederates [allied tribes] have not departed. And if the Confederates should come [again], they would wish they were in the desert among the bedouins asking for news about you. And if they should be among you, they would not fight except for a little.
لَقَدۡ كَانَ لَكُمۡ فِىۡ رَسُوۡلِ اللّٰهِ اُسۡوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَنۡ كَانَ يَرۡجُو اللّٰهَ وَالۡيَوۡمَ الۡاٰخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللّٰهَ كَثِيۡرًا ؕ ٢١
33:21
There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.
وَلَمَّا رَاٰ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ الۡاَحۡزَابَ ۙ قَالُوۡا هٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗ وَصَدَقَ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗ ۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمۡ اِلَّاۤ اِيۡمَانًا وَّتَسۡلِيۡمًا ؕ ٢٢
33:22
And when the believers saw the Confederates, they said, "This is what Allah and His Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth." And it increased them only in faith and submission.
مِّنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوۡا مَا عٰهَدُوۡا اللّٰهَ عَلَيۡهِ ۚ فَمِنۡهُمۡ مَّنۡ قَضٰى نَحۡبَهٗ وَمِنۡهُمۡ مَّنۡ يَّنۡتَظِرُ ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُوۡا تَبۡدِيۡلًا ۙ ٢٣
33:23
Among the believers are men who have been true to what they covenanted with Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their vow [by death], and some are waiting, and they have not changed [the terms of their commitment] at all.
لِّيَجۡزِىَ اللّٰهُ الصّٰدِقِيۡنَ بِصِدۡقِهِمۡ وَيُعَذِّبَ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ اِنۡ شَآءَ اَوۡ يَتُوۡبَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ غَفُوۡرًا رَّحِيۡمًا ۚ ٢٤
33:24
That Allah may reward the truthful for their truth and punish the hypocrites if He wills or accept their repentance. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
وَرَدَّ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا بِغَيۡظِهِمۡ لَمۡ يَنَالُوۡا خَيۡرًا ؕ وَكَفَى اللّٰهُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ الۡقِتَالَ ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيۡزًا ۚ ٢٥
33:25
And Allah repelled those who disbelieved, in their rage, having not obtained any good. And sufficient was Allah for the believers in battle, and ever is Allah Powerful and Exalted in Might.
وَاَنۡزَلَ الَّذِيۡنَ ظٰهَرُوۡهُمۡ مِّنۡ اَهۡلِ الۡكِتٰبِ مِنۡ صَيَاصِيۡهِمۡ وَقَذَفَ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمُ الرُّعۡبَ فَرِيۡقًا تَقۡتُلُوۡنَ وَتَاۡسِرُوۡنَ فَرِيۡقًا ۚ ٢٦
33:26
And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts. A party you killed, and you took captive another party.
وَاَوۡرَثَكُمۡ اَرۡضَهُمۡ وَدِيَارَهُمۡ وَاَمۡوَالَهُمۡ وَاَرۡضًا لَّمۡ تَطَئُوۡهَا ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرًا ٢٧
33:27
And He caused you to inherit their land and their homes and their properties and a land which you have not trod. And ever is Allah, over all things, competent.
يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ قُل لِّلۡاَزۡوَاجِكَ اِنۡ كُنۡتُنَّ تُرِدۡنَ الۡحَيٰوةَ الدُّنۡيَا وَزِيۡنَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيۡنَ اُوَمَتِّعۡكُنَّ وَاُسَرِّحۡكُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيۡلًا ۙ ٢٨
33:28
O Prophet, say to your wives, "If you should desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, I will compensate you [with satisfaction] and release you with a gracious release.
وَاِنۡ كُنۡتُنَّ تُرِدۡنَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوۡلَهٗ وَالدَّارَ الۡاٰخِرَةَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ اَعَدَّ لِلۡمُحۡسِنٰتِ مِنۡكُنَّ اَجۡرًا عَظِيۡمًا ؕ ٢٩
33:29
But if you should desire Allah and His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter - then indeed, Allah has prepared for the doers of good among you a great reward."
يٰنِسَآءَ النَّبِىِّ مَنۡ يَّاۡتِ مِنۡكُنَّ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ يُّضٰعَفۡ لَهَا الۡعَذَابُ ضِعۡفَيۡنِ ؕ وَكَانَ ذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ يَسِيۡرًا ٣٠
33:30
O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you should commit a clear immorality - for her the punishment would be doubled two fold, and ever is that, for Allah, easy.
